General topic: Why is hiking a good idea while being quarantined?
Need-to-know:
· You need fresh air.
· You get nice views.
· Lower your risk of heart disease.
· Build strength in your glutes, quadriceps, hamstrings, and the muscles in your hips and lower legs.
· Boost your mood.
Controversy: while COVID-19 is affecting all in the US and are quarantined inside their homes. People go outside for walks around their neighborhood and pick up groceries at stores. Though this is a good thing going outside getting fresh air it's just not the same.
Solution/proposal: hiking is way different from walking around the neighborhood. You can drive to remote locations and get a whole different view. A good thing about this is not many people will be around, so you don’t have to be as cautious with social distancing.
Call-to-action: Get out of the house more often and try something new. Hiking is beneficial in many ways and what better way to spend a quarantine.
